Scope and contents
Series I: Administrative correspondence, is the lalrgest series and contains administrative correspondence. Many letters written among Presidents and Executive Committee members to key members of various Standing and Ad Hoc Committees are included here, as well as Presidents of host institutions and and other noteables, begining as early as 1941 through the 1980s. Much of this correspondence was generated by Dr. Richard Long in his capacity as Vice-President and President of the organization in the late sixties through the early seventies, and A. Russell Brooks, as Chairman of the Research and Awards Committee. Topics ranging from meeting dates, convetion reminders, committee dates and responsibilities, sponsorship information, digests of papers presented, workshops and activities comprise a great deal of this series.
