Exoneration of Flipper - correspondence, resolutions, 1976

This series includes a typescript of Flipper's memoir, entitled "Biographical Sketches." This memoir was published in Negro Frontiersman: The Western Memoirs of Henry O. Flipper (edited by Theodore D. Harris, c. 1963). There are also news articles, programs, resolutions, and correspondence. Most of these items are related to efforts in the 1970s to vindicate Flipper from the wrongful court-martial of 1882, and events celebrating his posthumous exoneration received in 1976.
