Scope and contents
This series contains photographs related to the life and work of John H. Wheeler. This series contains photographs related to the life and work of John H. Wheeler. The photographs include images of buildings in Durham, NC, events and organizations that John H. Wheeler was associated with, and Wheeler family photographs. This series also includes scrapbooks that document the life and family history of Wheeler, along with personal interests, and Wheeler's travels. Notable images include signed photographs of John Wheeler with President Lyndon B. Johnson, and a photograph of the United Negro College Fund with Wheeler and Martin Luther King, Jr.
