Scope and contents
This series consists of maps related to Grace Towns Hamilton’s work on the Reapportionment Committee in the Georgia General Assembly. Included are maps of Atlanta, Georgia Congressional districts, election precincts of Fulton County, neighborhood development areas, and reapportionment plans of both the Senate and House. The series also contains plans made by Hamilton as well as other members of the Georgia General Assembly. A majority of the maps include additions added by Hamilton such as notes, highlighting and coloring.

Access restrictions
Original maps in boxes OS 9 and OS 10 should not be circulated, due to the size and possible fragile nature of some of the maps. Patrons may find digitized versions online or may ask to see the digitized versions.
