This series contains biographical information about Dr. E. A. Jones that includes materials related to his death, family papers, memorabilia, awards, greeting cards, invitations and a glimpse into some of his travels. The series also includes a tribute and appreciation celebration held for E.A. upon his retirement from Morehouse College at the Chicago Morehouse College Alumni Founder’s Day Banquet. Dr. Jones was appointed as Honorary Consul to the Republic of Senegal by President Leopold Sedar Senghor.
