This series contains a biographical sketch and news articles about Burwell T. Harvey, Jr. and some of his professional and personal correspondence. There is a printed copy of two of his father's speeches, Suggestions to the Colored Race and Introductory Sermon. There is a genealogy on the Wynn and Harvey families written by his wife, Ethel Mae Wynn Harvey. Of interest are photocopies of two letters to Mrs. Harvey from her friend William S. Braithwaite, a notable literary critic and poet.
