This consists of research materials on individuals and topics Pierce studied and/or wrote about. Among the subjects are Charles Alston, George Washington Carver, Adam Clayton Powell, Jr., and William “Billy” Pierce, Sr. For the publications produced from this research see Series B: Writings by Lemoine Pierce.



Noteworthy in this series are materials collected by Pierce in her research for lectures gave entitled “European Worship of Afrikan Madonnas: From Isis to Aunt Jemima” and documentation of her Child Custody Project research for the Georgia Department of Corrections.
