These materials reflect the interests and activities of Mrs. Towns. She was active in the community through organizations such as the Y.W.C.A. and the Gate City Day Nursery Association. The folder for the latter contains an autograph book from a reception honoring Mrs. Towns. The exhibition catalogs and notebooks reveal her interest in art and music, as does the women’s club program. The correspondence is a letter from Margaret Adams and a greeting card from her son Myron.
