Scope and contents

The Brailsford R. Brazeal papers span the dates 1920-1981 with the bulk of the materials dated 1962-1979. The collection includes writings by Brazeal; office files; photographs; manuscripts by other scholars and Brazeal family members; memorabilia; correspondence to and from Dr. Brazeal, including letters from Morehouse College Presidents and faculty; records of organizations to which Brazeal belonged; research materials; and printed materials.

Scope and Contents The William G. Pickens Collection spans the years between 1976 and 2010. This small collection provides a glimpse into some of Dr. Pickens contributions to the field of English. Included are programs of annual events and workshops, photographs, audio cassettes and scrapbooks. Scope and contents Hale Aspacio Woodruff (b.1900-d.1980) was a renowned artist and educator. Although Woodruff never earned a formal degree he studied extensively, attending the John Herron Art School in Indianapolis, Indiana; the Chicago Art Institute; Academie Moderne and Academie Scandinave in Paris, France; Fog Art Museum of Harvard University; and he studied in Mexico with Diego Rivera.
