This small series provides a glimpse into Calhoun's political activities. Calhoun was very active in the Republican Party on the local, state, and national levels. In 1974, Calhoun was elected to the Atlanta City Council where he served on the Economic Development and Finance Committees. Calhoun also helped establish the Neighborhood Planning Units (NPUs), which allowed citizens to participate in various city planning initiatives. This series also includes resolutions, committee reports, proposals, and some correspondence.
