From the Series:

The Research Materials Series contains the manuscript documentation of the archaeological excavation of the Johnsontown Neighborhood. This series includes contracts, correspondence related to the plans to began the excavation work, reports on the historical and architectural significance of the community, news articles related to the neighborhood and MARTA, oral history interviews with the residents and tape logs, survey photographs, field notes of the architectural and plan views, and inventory lists of the artifacts. Also included in this series are maps, research notes, and the report of the surface archaeological investigation and additional photographic data.
