Contend Description

A major component of the Neighborhood Union's work involved giving speeches and lectures. Included among them is an address by an unidentified memeber to a committee of the House of Representatives of Georgia regarding the passage of a bill that prevented the teaching by any white teacher in a "colored" school and any "colored" teacher in a white school.
