Scope and Contents
Arranged in chronological order, this series contains documents about Walter Rodney’s university education with materials dating from 1962-1966. The documents are primarily correspondence about scholarships and awards he received, and there is a photocopy of his doctoral degree from the University of London. In addition, there is information about grants he received from 1975-77 for his research on “Colonial Political Economy of British Guiana.”...

Photocopying is not permitted of Walter Rodney's unpublished writing, his drafts of works that have been published, nor his lectures and lecture notes.
Photocopying is not permitted of students' papers.
Audio recordings are for research and study and no copying is permitted.
Materials with personal identification information such as social security, passport, and financial account numbers, as well as student evaluations and reference letters for students... and colleagues have been isolated in Series M: Restricted Materials, and are not available for review.
