Scope and Contents
The Rodney family provided reproductions of the few photographs they have of Walter Rodney. The earliest image is a reproduction of Walter Rodney’s graduation portrait from Queen’s College in 1960. The other images are reproductions of snapshots of Walter Rodney with family, colleagues, and friends; as well as four reproductions of photographs Rodney collected for his research and writings.
Also included in this series are photographs of Dr. Rodney when he participated in the 1974 Institute of the Black World Summer Symposium in Atlanta, Georgia. These reproductions are provided for research and study.
