Scope and Contents
The content of these recordings consist of one of a kind interviews with such people as Malcolm X (including some Lincoln conducted while researching the Black Muslims), Wallace Muhammad, Louis Farrakhan and Ben Chavis. Among Dr. Lincoln's recording favorites are Duke Ellington's and Sara Vaughn's recordings. Their music, among others, is reflected here on cassette and reel-to-reel tapes. Also contained in this format are some early documentaries on the Black Muslims and speeches by Dr. Lincoln and his colleqgues on the Black Church. Most of the VHS material are recordings of Lincoln's speaking engagements and appearances. Finally, there are dozens of musical recordings (78s) ranging from country music to an impressive collection of classical operas, as well as some of Dr. Lincoln's own music.
