Scope and contents
This series features materials from Hallie B. Brooks's career as a librarian and professor. It includes documents related to her time at the Atlanta University Laboratory High School. It also contains materials from the Atlanta University School of Library Service, such as documents on the accreditation of the school as well as luncheons, and trips she was a part of. The materials from the luncheon include photocopies of photographs of the event. The originals can be found in the Photographs series. Most notably are the course materials included in the series. It contains documents, particularly examinations, outlines, and bibliographies, related to the various courses she taught at the Atlanta University School of Library Service, such as Literature and the Social Sciences, Modern Book Publishing, and History of Books. Formats of materials include programs, reports, and memos.
