Scope and Contents
Research project correspondence, periodicals, conference presentations, reports, surveys, collected research data, minutes, and notes. The goal of this project was to develop data on the time, leadership and money that churches have made to the development of private Black education, and tow publish a book about the development and Black leadership of America. Funded in part by a grant from the UNCF, the official title of the project was "Study of the Role of Churches in the Development and Preservation of Private Black Colleges and Universities."
