The 1989 Mayoral Campaign subseries contains the largest amount of materials that document Jackson's run for Mayor. Atlantans for Maynard Jackson (AMJ) is the largest constituency file consisting of announcements, budget and planning, financial reports, fundraisers, daily schedules and precinct locations. Also included in the subseries are correspondence, contributions, field operation files, finance committee files, press files, speaking requests, special reports, supporter lists, volunteer records, and Young Atlantans for Maynard (YAM) constituency files.
