Photographs: Brotherman Comics, circa 1990s
Series Description
The small number of photographs includes personal photographs and photographs of Big City Comics. Items of note include a scrapbook documenting the formation of Big City Comics. This series also contains cassette tapes with interviews related to Big City Comics and audio for a Brotherman Comics Documentary. These promotional interviews were conducted on local radio stations in Dallas Texas and detail the creation of the Brotherman comics as well as their distribution and direct marketing methods. Other audio includes music created by Dawud Anyabwile's cousins and soundtracks that accompany Brotherman Comics.
