This series contains an oral history and video of Nell Sims describing her trip to Barack Obama’s inauguration two months before her 99th birthday and her thoughts on having a Black president; there is also interview of Ann Nixon Cooper who was born in 1902 who cast her vote for Barack Obama in the 2008 United States Presidential Election. And lastly, this section includes a series of interviews entitled Voices of the Civil Rights Movement which has interviews about experiences both during and after the Civil Rights Movement.
