Morehouse College, 1924-1945

This small series includes programs, invitations, and a newspaper clipping about events at Morehouse College. There are issues of The Morehouse Journal of Science, which Harvey founded in 1928 and edited until 1940. This journal provided information about the achievements and contributions of African Americans to the field of science. There is also a copy of the May 1929 issue of the Morehouse Alumnus, which features Harvey's retirement as coach and introduces his successor Ray L. Vaughn. (See also Series G. Photographs.)
