Scope and contents
From the Series:
Series two is composed entirely of application forms from various states and counties requesting Slater Fund aid. The applications supply information on the county schools such as enrollment statistics, number of teachers funded, the type of education program implemented (e.g. vocational or industrial), and total expenditures.

Access restrictions
Boxes 147-149 contain transcripts which include personal information and are restricted. Boxes 150-157 contain personal dossiers of applicants for the Woodrow Wilson National Fellowship Foundation and are restricted. Boxes 174 and 175 are restricted for preservation purposes.
