Scope and contents
The Juanita Marshall Eber collection includes her personal papers, professional correspondence, memorabilia, printed material and photographs. A significant portion of the collection contains papers, correspondence, printed materials and photographs relating to the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority with special focus on the 75th Anniversary Celebration.

Biographical note
Juanita Marshall Eber is a Clark College alumnae, a former director of Alumni Affairs at Clark College, a Golden Life Member of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and community activist. For more than fifty years, Eber has been an advocate for Clark College. While a student, she was active in many activities and organizations, including the Drama Guild, the Social Science Club and the Panther Yearbook. She was voted Miss Clark of 1950-1951. From 1965-1972, she worked for the Fulton County Department of Family and Children Services. She went back to school and in 1975 graduated from John Marshall School of Law. From 1974-1985, she worked at Clark College as the Director of Alumni Relations.
Eber remains active in civic engagement and has served on the Atlanta Clean City Commission, the Distribution Committee for the Atlanta Foundation, the Mayor’s Task Force on Sexual Harassment, the Women’s Advisory Council to the Georgia State Board of Corrections, the Georgia State Board of Dispensing Opticians, the CAU Arts Guild, Privatization Review Panel for the City of Atlanta, and the Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections.
Eber is a life member of the NAACP and the National Council of Negro Women. Her many awards and honors include Outstanding Georgia Citizen, Award for Outstanding Service from the Black Women’s International Conference, Atlanta Clark Alumni Chapter, Certificate of Recognition for Outstanding Contribution from the Women’s Resource Center at Clark College and a Certificate of Appreciation, Loyalty, and Service from the Clark College National Alumni Association.
