The majority of the photographs in this series illustrate Wayman Carver’s music career as a jazz musician and college band director. There are photographs of jazz bands, musicians, and entertainers. Many are autographed and include Chick Webb, Ella Fitzgerald, Benny Carter, Peg Leg Bates, and the Nicholas Brothers.
