Scope and Contents From the Series: This series contains photographs of events sponsored and held at Atlanta University such as Commencement, Baccalaureate, Convocation, Art Exhibits (Art Annual), Alumni Banquets, Charter Day, Summer Theatre, and President’s Receptions. Other events include special ceremonies such as the John Hope Lecture Series, the Dedication of Trevor Arnett Library, the Memorial Service for Whitney Young, and visits to Atlanta University from Eleanor Roosevelt.
