Scope and Contents
The Morehouse College Alumnus, also known as the Morehouse College Bulletin, was a quarterly publication produced by Morehouse College throughout the 20th century. Its primary purpose was to keep alumni and friends informed about the state of the institution, as well as the events, activities, and achievements of its alumni community.
This collection of communication from Morehouse College provides a valuable historical record, documenting campus news,... announcements, events, statistics, administrative issues, faculty, staff, board members, the Alumni Association, students, and alumni. The earliest edition identified is from 1926, titled the Morehouse Alumni Quarterly. About 1928, the publication's name changed to the Morehouse Alumnus. Around 1937, the title evolved further to the Bulletin of Morehouse College, Morehouse Alumnus.
Overall, the Morehouse College Alumnus/Bulletin served as an important link between the college, its alumni, and the broader community, sharing updates and celebrating the accomplishments of Morehouse men.
