Historical note

Morehouse College, located in Atlanta, Georgia, is a private historically Black men's liberal arts college founded in 1867. The college emphasizes religious instruction in the Baptist tradition and has played a significant role in the civil rights movement. Morehouse is the largest men's liberal arts college in the United States and has produced many notable alumni. The college has a strong academic record, having produced Fulbright, Rhodes, and Marshall Scholars, as well as numerous trailblazers in various fields.
