This series is comprised of an array of documents and publications about Walter Rodney and social, economic and political conditions in Guyana. Among the documents are copies of a security review related to the 1968 Jamaica riots, a legal brief for the arson trial in 1979, ephemera related to the assassination in 1980, and a report about food shortages in Guyana in 1983. There is also a copy of an outline for a free class Walter Rodney taught to the community when the government prevented him from teaching at the University of Guyana.

Photocopying is not permitted of Walter Rodney’s unpublished writing, his drafts of works that have been published, nor his lectures and lecture notes.
