Scope note
This series is comprised of a few of the organizations that Carl Ware is affiliated with. The Road Dogs Classic and Black Professional and Businessman's Seminar contains the most information in this series and documents this groups activities from 1987-2005. Carl Ware also served on the Board of Trustees for Clark Atlanta University and there are four folders of materials that document his work while on the board. Included is information about the special Convocation held in honor of Nelson Mandela; printed materials about the building named in his honor (The Carl and Mary Ware Academic Center); as well as correspondences, reports and committee work, such as the 30th Anniversary Salute of the Atlanta University Center Civil Rights Movement. There is also a small amount of information about the United Way, the United Negro College Fund, the Southern Center for International Studies and Chevron, where he also served on the Board of Directors.
