Included are some of his notes and examinations as a student at the University of Kansas and the University of Chicago. Scope and contents From the Series: As a historian, Dr. Bacote naturally pursued activities which his academic talents could be put to use. Such activities included membership in historical societies and academic groups such as the Association for the Study of African American Life and History, the Atlanta Historical Society, the Georgia Association of HIstorians, and the Organization of American Historians.
