The content of these recordings consist of one of a kind interviews with such people as Malcolm X (including some Lincoln conducted while researching the Black Muslims), Wallace Muhammad, Louis Farrakhan and Ben Chavis. Among Dr. Lincoln's recording favorites are Duke Ellington's and Sara Vaughn's recordings. Their music, among others, is reflected here on cassette and reel-to-reel tapes. Most of the items in this group consist of plaques and awards Dr. Lincoln received in the late 1980s and 1990s. Also included are issues of magazines he found relevant, drawings and other oversized materials. The awards relfect Licnoln's lifelong involvement and achievement in research, academia and the church. Of note are a series of drawings by Vertis Hayes that were to be included in a book of biographies of African Americans.
