General, 1950-2001
Scope and Contents
The General series consists correspondence and other materials that are unrelated to the functioning or administration of Morehouse College. It is further divided into four subseries in 8.5 boxes: General, A-Z, Correspondence, Newspaper and Magazine Clippings, and Printed Materials.
The General, A–Z sub-series includes general correspondence and related materials that do not fall into other sub-series.
The Correspondence sub-series contains written communications that do not pertain to Morehouse College.
The Newspaper and Magazine Clippings sub-series comprises newspapers, magazines, and newsletters that Gloster accumulated for his own personal use. Much of this material pertains to local and national political trends.
The Printed Materials sub-series contains booklets, programs, studies, and reports. These items tend to be related to Gloster’s role as president of Morehouse, but are not about the institution as such.
